August 2023: MdPHA Climate and Health Coordinator

The Maryland Public Health Association (MdPHA), an American Public Health Association (APHA) affiliate, is a non-profit organization of public health professionals dedicated to creating healthy communities and improving the lives of all Marylanders. MdPHA is run by an all-volunteer board of twelve and an Executive Board comprising the President, President-Elect, Past President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Affiliate Representative to the APHA Governing Council. We are looking to hire a part-time coordinator, consultant, or fellow to support the board in activities that include managing a grant to amplify the health voice on climate-related health issues, communicating with the members, developing educational materials for members, grant reporting and deliverable tracking, coordinating with organizational partners, and other activities.

March 2023: CASA De Maryland

Research and Policy Analyst

This position will provide an aspiring analyst with an exceptional opportunity to demonstrate and develop their skills as part of a small but high-impact and hard-working team. CASA’s Research and Policy Analyst will play an integral role in devising and executing a thought-provoking research agenda that directly informs creative, actionable policy proposals to improve the lives of low-income immigrants and working families. The Research and Policy Analyst will design and implement advocacy campaigns to advance fundamental rights for Latino & immigrant families primarily in local counties and the State of Maryland. The analyst will be deeply involved in all aspects of creating and communicating research products.

Environmental Health Educator (Prince George's County), Green Healthy Homes Initiative

“The Institute for Innovation and Implementation at the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work has two opportunities for Program Manager positions to join the Institute’s Parent Infant Early Childhood (PIEC) team.
