Nicole Morris is a career Public Health Nurse with over twenty years of experience working to improve the health of individuals, families and communities on Maryland's Eastern Shore. She currently serves as the Director for the five-county Mid Shore Health Improvement Coalition, bringing together diverse sectors to address pressing health conditions such as obesity, diabetes and cancer and contributing upstream social and environmental factors such as housing and food insecurity, bias and stigma, and access to healthcare. Nicole graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and summa cum laude with a Master of Science Degree in Community/Public Health Nursing from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She was the recipient of the Cynthia Northrop Award, presented to the Outstanding Graduate of the Community/Public Health Nursing Specialty. She lives in Easton, Maryland with her family and enjoys traveling, camping, and foraging for wild edible plants with her two teen daughters.
