MdPHA Student Members

The Student Section of the Maryland Public Health Association (SMdPHA) is an organization open to ALL students from ALL universities and colleges! SMdPHA serves communities throughout the state, educates others about public health topics and promotes the field to students, and advocates for public health equity. By being a SMdPHA member, you will have opportunities to learn more about public health in practice and participate in networking opportunities with professionals at events throughout the year.

SMdPHA currently has four student chapters at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy ( facebook.com/SMDPHA ),  Coppin State University, University of Maryland School of Medicine Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, and Towson University. These chapters work independently and with the guidance of the MdPHA Board of Directors to create events and activities to engage and enhance the student experience.

If you are interested in starting a chapter at your university or college, please reach out to us at getinfo@mdpha.org
