2021 Mid-Atlantic Regional Public Health Conference
The Mid-Atlantic Partnership, consists of the public health associations of Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland, is organizing a joint annual conference for the region. As public health professionals battling the pandemic, we know that social determinants of health can be individualized to a community, region or race. This year’s conference will focus on empowering communities to find solutions around social determinants of health to achieve better outcomes – how to scale and adapt to address health inequities, integration of public health and health care, race as an important public health crisis, policy implications on local/regional communities, research and preparedness for major disasters.
Our kick-off event will include the public health leadership from each state addressing this important topic. Each topic will cover experts from each state that will give participants an opportunity to understand local, state and regional perspective and solutions. We understand that most of the events are virtual, so we have ample opportunities for networking and socializing.
